MAGGEMM ROADSHOWS 2008... Gukurahundi - how can we find closure?

After a successful launch in June, MAGGEMM is embarking on a series of road shows and debates about Gukurahundi in cities across the country starting in Bristol. Other cities and towns lined up include Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Coventry, Basildon and Southend.

Guest Speaker: Albert Musarurwa is a Zimbabwean human rights lawyer and activist. He is a former legal advisor of the Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions, and has practised law in Zimbabwe for about 2 decades. Also a former National Director of the Legal Resources Foundation (LRF), the co-author (with the Catholic Commission for Justice & Peace) of the Gukurahundi Report and former Chairperson of the Zimbabwe Human Rights NGO Forum. At present he is a researcher and human rights activist based in the UK.
